On the Saving Dinner webcast, it's FiberGourmet to the rescue! I like hearing nice things about my products, and transcribing them too, so here's a quote from Leanne:
It saved me from taking pasta off the list - you know how lethal pasta is ... You know I like Dreamfields and the Barilla Plus stuff, but that's child play compared to this. This is called FiberGourmet, and it has 20 grams of fiber. Hellooo? 20g of fiber, 130 calories, and it tastes 100 times better than whole wheat pasta (which tastes like boiled carboard). This. Stuff. Is. The. BOMB
I love it! We've got to have her write copy for our next products. Thanks again, Leanne! And go check out her show and website everyone, there's lots of great tips and info there.
Sorry for the delay in getting this up, the product launch & Fancy Food Show has been keeping us pretty busy
Whew! I just got back from the Fancy Food Show (pictures to follow), and it was a blast. Exhausting and invigorating at the same time, I finally got to meet a lot of people I'd only spoken to on the phone, or in some cases just corresponded with via e-mail. It was great to put some names to faces there.
We also had several terrific meetings, and generated a book-load of new leads. I mean that literally - the real measure of success for this show will be determined over the next month, as we follow up on a the Rolodex of business cards and hastily scribbled notes that represented the essential "product" of the show for us. It was all we really had to show for around $4,000 and a whole week of our time. You wouldn't believe how scary it is to fly back to Miami with that little black book burning a hole in your backpack!
The highlight of the show was definitely the new Light Mac & Cheese which we launched there. Very popular, far exceeding expectations. On the first day we actually ran out of forks, and ended up raiding the concession stands! ("Yeah, I'll have a large coffee and, uh, 200 forks please"). Everyone seemed to love it, even towards the end of the day, when it had been sitting out on a heating sterno for about 8 hours. Now that's good pasta!
Now that the FFS is over, we're officially launching it up on our website. Go check it out!
Congrats to the incredibly adorable Michelle*, the winner of our first photo contest! Looks like she loves that pasta :)

As I said in my last post, we'll be exhibiting at this year's Fancy Food Show, in booth #6156. You can find more info at the NASFT website. Check out that mile long exhibitor list!
Anyway, it looks like it should be a fun show, and hopefully walking all around the cavernous three-floor buffet will mitigate the fact that it still is a three-floor buffet. Looking forward to seeing you there!
